About Choice Barn Company - Manufacturer of Modular Barns
& Components sold by Barns & Stables
Choice Barns, Inc., a modular barn and building manufacturer
owned and operated by Jim and Wanda Silva is backed by decades
of experience in the manufacturing of modular barns and
buildings. Jim Silva started working in the barn business over
thirty years ago for the original owner of Barnmaster Inc. Jim
worked side by side with the original owner designing,
developing and building modular barns to what they are today. In
1993, Jim was instrumental in the opening of the Barnmaster
Texas plant and relocated to Midland, TX to operate the
facility. Jim continued to manage the plant after it was sold in
July of 2005 to VHW Holdings (owner of MD Enterprises) and then
ultimately was closed in October of 2008 by new ownership.
In 2009, Choice Barns, Inc. opened its manufacturing facility in
Midland, TX. Jim and Wanda were able to employ many of those who
lost their jobs when the Barnmaster Texas plant was closed by
new ownership. These employees have experience ranging from
fourteen to twenty-five years manufacturing modular steel barns
and buildings. In addition, a large percentage of the previous
Barnmaster dealers made the decision to join the Choice Barns
family. This dedicated team of Choice Barns dealers located
throughout the United States have decades of experience and
expertise in the design and installation of modular steel barns
and buildings. Cheryl Spangler was brought on board in 2009 as
the National Sales Manager and operates out of the CA
Sales/Marketing office. She comes from Barnmaster with 20 years
experience working alongside Jim and the Choice Barns employees
and dealers.
With this amount of experience and knowledge built into one Barn
Company, Choice Barns can guarantee you a superior product,
exceptional customer service, on-time delivery all at an
affordable price. Most importantly, we give you the peace of
mind that comes from knowing that you made the right “Choice”.
